P is for Poot

We have been doing a letter a week to teach the kids the alphabet letters and the sound each letter makes. Each letter has a character and a motion that goes with it. The kids look really cute doing the motion! Usually on Tuesday's we come up with as many words as we can think of that start with that letter. It never fails, one of the kids always come up with some off the wall word that we don't write on the chart. This week we have been learning the letter P. We all sat at the table this afternoon and the kids came up with all of their P words: puzzle, pizza, pancake, Peter, playground, and then J yells out "poot!" As soon as he yelled that out, T yelled out "pee pee!" This activity was quickly going elsewhere! It was pretty funny but it was bound to happen!
